The Process
PREPARING FOR YOUR DOT
- Make a list of medications/vitamins to bring with you
- Stay hydrated - we take a urine sample for protein & sugar content
- Send your driver's license info before your appointment
EXAM
Dr. Tipton will review your health history, do a urine sample test, check your vital signs, and conduct a thorough examination to evaluate your physical health.
POST-EXAM
You will receive 2 DOT medical cards and an email of all your paperwork. We will also update your information on the national registry and send your DOT information to the DMV for you.
FOLLOW UPS
Once we send your info to the DMV we will send you a confirmation IF we receive one. If you do not receive confirmation it is your responsibility to follow up with the DMV to be sure they have you up to date.
